The Mission
"Most financial content talks past the people in the pew. Mind Your Money was built to talk directly to them."

There is an enormous gap between what faith communities are taught about money from the pulpit and what they actually need to hear to build financial stability. Most financial content ignores faith entirely. Most faith content ignores practical financial reality.

Mind Your Money exists in that gap. It's not a devotional. It's not a course. It's a weekly conversation — grounded in faith, built on real financial experience, and designed for the family sitting in the third row trying to figure out how to make it to the end of the month.

The content follows a 12-week arc across three phases — moving from foundation through strength to legacy — mirroring the Break the Cycle curriculum but delivered as accessible weekly content anyone can follow without buying anything.

The audience becomes the community. The community becomes the movement. Our Money Matters Too — the platform Emmett built before EWALK — is the proof of concept.

Content Structure

A 12-week arc.
Three phases.

Mind Your Money isn't random content. Each week builds on the last across a three-phase arc — so whether someone joins Week 1 or Week 9, there's a clear path forward and a reason to stay.

I
Phase 1 · Weeks 1–4
Foundation
Where you are and why you're there. Phase 1 deals honestly with the financial reality most families live — without shame, without oversimplification.
Why money is a spiritual issue
What debt actually costs you
The tithe and financial planning
Why budgets fail and how to fix it
II
Phase 2 · Weeks 5–8
Strength
Building from the foundation. Phase 2 moves from survival into growth — investing, protection, generosity structures, and community accountability that lasts.
How markets work for believers
Insurance as stewardship
Building community accountability
Financial strength as a spiritual discipline
III
Phase 3 · Weeks 9–12
Legacy
The end is the beginning. Phase 3 takes on the conversations most communities never have — about death, transfer, and what we actually leave behind.
Leaving wealth, not just stuff
The legacy conversation at every age
Estate planning as an act of love
What your children need to inherit
Where to Find It

Every channel.
One conversation.

Mind Your Money meets its audience where they already are — across four active distribution channels, plus a speaking and workshop licensing program for organizations that want to bring the content in-person.

Moving from survival to growth — investing, protection, generosity, and the financial disciplines that build real strength for a family of faith.

The Ecosystem

Part of something
bigger.

Mind Your Money isn't a standalone channel. It's the top of the EWALK Holdings financial education funnel — building the audience that Break the Cycle converts and Legacii retains.

Our Money Matters Too
The community
that started it all.
Before EWALK Holdings existed, Emmett Walker III built Our Money Matters Too — a financial empowerment platform and community serving African American families. That platform is the proof of concept that became Mind Your Money. The audience is real. The engagement is documented. The mission is the same.
🏛️
Feeds the Institutional Pipeline
Community audience becomes the social proof that opens school districts, government agencies, and foundations.
📚
Converts to Break the Cycle
Content subscribers naturally convert to curriculum buyers — the 12-week arc mirrors the content structure.
💚
Retains via Legacii
Curriculum completers become Legacii platform members — with the app, ongoing workshops, and community keeping them engaged.
🙏
Faith-Centered by Design
MYM speaks to the faith community first — the audience most underserved by mainstream financial content.

Who Mind Your Money
is built for.

The Faith Family
Church members, small group participants, and congregation families who want financial guidance that doesn't ask them to leave their faith at the door.
👨‍👩‍👧
The Household Ready to Change
Families who know they need a financial reset but haven't found content that speaks their language, respects their values, and gives practical steps they can actually take.
📖
The Small Group Leader
Pastors, deacons, financial discipleship leaders, and small group facilitators looking for weekly content to anchor group conversations about money and stewardship.
🌱
The First-Generation Builder
First-generation wealth builders who didn't grow up with a financial playbook — and who need a guide that understands that starting point without judgment.
🔁
The Cycle-Breaker
Anyone who has decided — regardless of where they are financially — that the pattern stops with them. That's who this content was written for.
🏛️
Organizations & Ministries
Faith organizations, nonprofits, and community programs looking for a content partner — for newsletters, bulletin inserts, small group curricula, or speaking engagements.
